Practice like a PGA Pro…no, not Tiger Woods. Me…Brandon Evans…a local PGA Pro with a fun job which occupies 8-12 hours of energy per day, 2 kids and a beautiful wife at home who I love spending time with, an affinity for landscaping, and too little time to practice golf.
Day #7 – Feet Together Full Swing Drill
Focus: Full Swing – Balance
Description: Take 25 3/4 to full swings with your feet together to work on tempo and balance. For a rep to count, you have to hold your finish position in balance until the ball comes to a rest.
Objective: Hit 25 shots with perfect balance.
Time: Prince and I practiced together…about 5 minutes…100% success rate.

This might be the best drill…period. It can fix many faults and it can “turn” on the light for many people struggling with balance and the dreaded “swinging club while staying connected” problem. What always amazed me was the student that couldn’t hit it 100 yards without a banana slice or ducky, yet after using this drill could hit it 5 yards left or right of dead center.
